Artur Porto
I am a Brazilian designer based in Madrid, working as a freelance designer specializing in Brand Design and graphic design in general.
In parallel, I collaborate as a communication design consultant at MP_Consultoria, a consultancy focused on communication and cultural branding for the Brazilian public and private sectors, working with state secretariats and organizations such as Natura&Co and WWF Brasil.
I hold a Master’s degree in Communication Design from the University of Lisbon (2022) and am a member of the Center for Research and Studies in Fine Arts (CIEBA, 2023), where my research explores the relationship between design and democracy.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), including a one-year exchange program at the University of Bologna, Italy, through a scholarship from the Brazilian government’s Science Without Borders program. My graduation project, Golzinho, was selected for the Dubai Design Week 2017 — Prototypes for Humanity exhibition, where it received the People’s Choice Award.
I bring interdisciplinary experience across branding, exhibition design, editorial design, signage design, packaging design, and product design — always with a strong sensitivity to the cultural and social dimensions that shape each creative process.
